Did you know there is an official scale that is used to communicate how bald you are?

A man by the name of Dr. James Norwood developed the Norwood scale back in the 50's and an updated version it is still used today by medical professionals dealing with balding men. The scale has a total of 7 stages of baldness which shows the progression of hair loss over time.

The earlier you are in the scale the better chances you have for treating hair loss and the further you are into the scale the lower the chances.

I personally never tried any medical treatments or products to prevent balding, but instead started shaving my head bald when I was about a Norwood 3 on the scale. Everyone will have their own opinion about what is right or wrong, but that was my choice and 100% confident in the decision that I made.
